Cafe Brunch Budapest - Opera
Cafe Brunch Budapest at the Opera House opened on 18 September 2017. The cafe underwent a major extension and refurbishment in 2020 and offers 40 inside and 40 outside seatings for our guests. There is also a separate room for small family and company events for up to 20 guests.
The inside area of our breakfast restaurant is air-conditioned and the outside terrace has small green garden with a fountain. The restaurant is located on Hajos street, which is a pedestrian street leading from the Opera House. The restaurant serves breakfast and brunch every day of the week starting from 8.00 a.m., and we also offers lunch from 11.30.
We offer many egg dishes, including the favourites like Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale with smoked salmon, but can also try the Hungarian scrambled eggs or the Hungarian omelette as part of the Hungarian breakfast experience. We serve specialty coffee from a local roastery and have a number of vegan options as well as gluten free and lactose free dishes.

At the moment we don't take bookings, but we welcome everyone without a reservation and we can provide a table on a first-come first-serve basis. I case you insist on a table booking, we are delighted to let you know that we take reservations at out Brunch Deli restaurant for every day of the week.

You will find Cafe Brunch Budapest - Opera in Budapest 6th district in Hajós street 26. It is at the corner of Hajós and Dessewffy street next to a small green garden, about 3 minutes walk away from the Hungarian State Opera House. Hajós street is a pedestrian street, so our location is perfect for a relaxing breakfast or brunch at the start of your day, or a light lunch. You can enjoy our breakfast, brunch and lunch menu every day of the week from 8.00 a.m until 4 p.m. In the summer you can relax on our terrace and we are open until 5.00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Try our brunch cocktails too. We offer a happy hour deal from 2.00 p.m.
